Vincent S. Conti
Vincent S. Conti has been a Venture Partner of Radius Ventures, LLC since 2010. Previously, Vince built his career in acute care hospital management, most recently as President and Chief Executive Officer of Maine Medical Center (MMC), a 600 bed tertiary and teaching hospital in Portland, Maine, serving in that role for over a decade (1997-2008). During his tenure as CEO, MMC repeatedly earned national recognition for the quality of its clinical services, including "Top 100 Hospital", "Top 100 Orthopedic Hospital", fourth of "50 Exceptional US Hospitals" based on national safety practices, the country’s "Best Pulmonary Services Department", "Top 25 Children’s Hospital", "Top 50 Hospital" in GYN Services, a Nursing "Magnet" Hospital, and most recently a first time listing in US News and World Report as one of the top 50 US hospitals in cardiac and orthopedic care. Previously, Vince spent 20 years at Yale New Haven Hospital, ultimately responsible for virtually all aspects of the operation of this 900 bed primary teaching affiliate hospital of the Yale University Medical School. Vince has been the recipient of numerous healthcare and other community service awards and recognitions, and has served on numerous State and local health care, community service and business boards, including: Chair, Voluntary Hospitals of America – New England; Chair, American Hospital Association Region 1 Policy Board; and Chair of Health Insights. In 2007 he was appointed to serve on the Governor’s Task Force to Study the Future of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and in 2006 was elected to serve a three year term on the Board of the American Hospital Association. Most recently, Vince served on the boards of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health System for 11 years (2009-2020) and as Chair of both boards for the last year of his tenure. Vince currently serves as a Venture Partner of Radius Ventures and on the Advisory Board of SYFT, a Radius Ventures portfolio company.
