Daniel C. Lubin is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Radius Ventures LLC, a New York-based venture capital organization that invests in leading-edge, late-stage venture health and life sciences companies. In his role at Radius, Daniel has focused on the firm’s investment effort in the healthcare services/IT sector, serving on numerous public and private boards, including Tabula Rasa Healthcare (NASDAQ: TRHC), Invicro, Aethon, Healthsense and Syft (formerly Management Health Solutions). Daniel also serves as Chairman of Upsher Management Company, a single family office built upon his family’s 85-year legacy as operators, clinicians and investors in the healthcare industry.
Daniel is a Trustee of the Center for the Study of the Presidency & Congress (Washington, DC), and was recently appointed to the Board of International Councilors of the Harvard Kennedy School Belfer Center for Science & International Affairs (Cambridge, MA). He is also affiliated with the recently launched Creative Destruction Lab (CDL-NY) at New York University’s Stern School of Business, where he serves as a G7-Associate mentoring CDL-NYC start-ups. Daniel has been a guest lecturer at leading business schools, law schools and major conferences on the topics of healthcare industry innovation, venture capital and direct investing, impact investing, family office formation and wealth/asset management. He is the Founder and Co-Chairman of the Family Office Roundtable (FORT), a unique academic-family business organization established in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Global Family Alliance; FORT’s mission is to enhance the marketplace advantage and social wealth creation of ultra high net worth global families.
Daniel earned a B.S. cum laude in Foreign Service from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and an M.B.A. with honors from Harvard Business School.
